About me
Hello! I am Prachi (pronounced: praa-chee).
Currently, I work as a Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon. I am a part of the Personalization team in Amazon Music which builds all the recommender models across Music.
I also worked part-time as a Machine Learning Engineer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).
I graduated from Oregon State University (OSU) with a Masters in Computer Science (AI track). I was advised by Dr. Prasad Tadepalli. My research at OSU was focused on robustness and adversarial attacks on Question Answering models in Natural Language Processing. Prior to OSU, I received my Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (University of Mumbai) in Mumbai, India.
I am passionate about Natural Language Processing and its applications in various domains.
Outside work, I love traveling, hiking, playing badminton, painting and trying out new cuisines. Check out my blog on food and travel and everything else!
